4011 GN/BN PC&F 10ft "V" Bar Plug Door Plate C Box Car

This Craftsman kit will build a model of a Pacific Car and Foundry 50’ 8” Interior Length, Plate C Box Car with 10ft “V” bar Plug Door. Built in 1965 and 1967 with a capacity of 5350 Cu Ft and either End of car Cushioning or 20 inch Hydra-Cushion cushioning.
Originally delivered for Great Northern in Glacier Green in two batches and numbered 138000-138099, with a Large Logo Panel and no Cushioning and 318100-318399 with a Small Logo Panel and Hydra Cushion end of car cushioning and after the BN Merger were repainted in Cascade Green and numbered 238400-238499 and 375619-375799.
This kit contains the following:
- 2 pcs .015 thick Outer Sides (with scribe detail).
- 2 pcs .020 thick Rib Section
- 2 pcs .005 thick Hat Section and Logo Panels and Medallion Panel
- 2 pcs .020 thick Inner Sides (with gluing holes)
- Detail Sheet with Door Hardware
- 2 pcs Cannon and Company 3001 Plate C End
